The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received the 4th Term President of the World Health Tourism Council, President of the Azerbaijan Health Tourism Council Ruslan Kuliyev.
Speaking during the visit, Töre said that he believed that the representation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Council would contribute positively to the country’s international visibility and activities in the field of health tourism.
The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received the 4th Term President of the World Health Tourism Council, President of the Azerbaijan Health Tourism Council Ruslan Kuliyev on Monday.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, who also serves as the Chairman of the High Advisory Board for the 2023-24 period of the World Health Tourism Council, and the National Unity Party (UBP) MP and the Term President of the World Health Tourism Council Ahmet Savaşan.
Speaking during the visit Töre stressed the importance of representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) together with Türkiye and Azerbaijan in the Council of 56 countries.
The Parliamentary Speaker expressed his belief that this international representation will contribute positively to the international visibility of the TRNC and its activities in the field of health tourism.
Töre pointed out that the election of the President of the TRNC Health Tourism Council Ahmet Savaşan as the President of the World Health Tourism Council, will contribute positively to the international representation of the TRNC, as well as the development of cooperation between member states and North Cyprus in this field.
The 4th Term President of the World Health Tourism Council, President of the Azerbaijan Health Tourism Council Ruslan Kuliyev for his part noted that the Azerbaijan Health Tourism Council had been cooperating with North Cyprus in the field of tourism for years, adding that they will continue to work for the further development of these relations during Ahmet Savaşan’s World Health Tourism Council term presidency.
