The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre pointed to the importance of national awareness, consciousness, unity and solidarity.

Stating that it was not possible for the Turkish Cypriot people to continue their national struggle without Türkiye, Töre underlined that Motherland Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) were inseparable.

The parliamentary speaker was speaking while receiving the Chairman of the organizing committee of the Turkish Cypriot Youth Congress Mustafa Özbilgehan and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting Özbilgehan said that that they will be publishing the final report of the Turkish Cypriot Youth Congress, the third of which was held on Friday, sharing the results of the study conducted with the participation of 240 people.

The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre for his part stated that they were pleased that the country’s youth were carrying out such work and praised the efforts of the organising committee.

Meanwhile Töre also received a delegation from the Malatya Youth and Education Association on Tuesday.

Speaking during the visit, Töre said that the Turkish nation always defended the national unity and solidarity of its people.

He noted that it was not possible for the Turkish Cypriot people to continue their national struggle without Türkiye.

Pointing to the importance of national consciousness, Töre underlined that Motherland Türkiye and the TRNC were inseparable.
