The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre evaluated Israel’s continued attacks on Gaza to the Anadolu Agency.

Töre said that Israel’s aim is not Hamas, but to wipe Palestine completely off the map.

Stating that genocide is taking place in Gaza, Töre said, “The genocide committed by Israel is shameful. The United Nations is useless. Peace rallies are not enough to stop Israel because the United States and the European Union are behind Israel.”

Criticizing the UN Security Council for not being fair about Gaza, Töre pointed out that Muslim countries should be in unity and solidarity in order to stop Israeli aggression.

“They claim the attacks are to ‘eliminate Hamas’ but they are massacring civilians. They are slaughtering children, pregnant women, shooting hospitals and destroying buildings. Israel is officially committing war crimes today. Where are the human rights courts? Where is the UN? Where is the EU? Where are the international organizations? They are all watching Israel’s atrocities that are beyond barbarism” said Töre.

Describing Israel’s attacks on civilians in Gaza as “state terrorism”, Töre emphasized that the international community must find a way to stop the atrocities committed by Israel.
