The Speaker of Parliament, Zorlu Töre on Tuesday paid separate visits to the Cyprus Science University and the Final University.

According to the information provided by Parliament’s Press Bureau, Töre was briefed on the educational activities of the universities during his visits.

In his remarks during the visits, Töre said that he tried to visit universities operating in the country whenever he had the opportunity as they were extremely important for the future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Stressing that each foreign student studying at universities in the country will become ambassadors once they return to their own countries, he stated that they were always proud of the academic work and achievements of the country’s institutions of higher education.

He noted that they closely followed the activities of the university and stressed that parliament and all universities maintained good dialogue and collaboration.

Underlining the importance of maintaining quality and excellence as the number of universities increase, the Parliamentary Speaker expressed great satisfaction with the growing number of students each day.
