Officials from the Association of Turkish Cypriot Tourism and Travel Agencies and the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies held a meeting at the Mesopotamia Tourism and Gastronomy Fair in Diyarbakır.

At the meeting, which was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Tourism, decisions were taken to revitalize North Cyprus tourism.

While it was decided to work on the promotion of North Cyprus and the revitalization of hotels other than casinos, it was also decided to produce projects to increase tours especially in the field of culture, gastronomy, nature and adventure.

At the meeting, where the importance of continuing mutual cooperation between the two organizations was emphasized, problems experienced in transportation were also discussed.

In this context, it was also noted that steps will be taken to hold high-level contacts to improve air fare prices.
