The Turkish government is making arrangements to allow earthquake victims from Türkiye who have sought refuge with relatives in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to be able to vote in the upcoming elections in Türkiye.

The Turkish Embassy announced on Sunday that the deadline for Turkish voters from earthquake stricken areas who are currently residing in the TRNC to register their new addresses so that they may be able to vote in the May 14 elections ends on Friday March 17.

Voters will be able to vote in the areas where they have registered their addresses.
