Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu conveyed his best wishes to President Ersin Tatar whose vehicle was attacked while trying to enter King’s College in London.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu conveyed his best wishes to the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Erin Tatar when a group of protestors tried to prevent him from attending a program in London.

Çavuşoğlu said that they will always support and stand by the TRNC.

Sharing his view via Twitter after attempts to prevent President Tatar from participating in the program, Çavuşoğlu wrote “The Greek Cypriots, who could not digest the increasing visibility of the TRNC, especially its observer membership in the Organization of Turkic States, have started to become aggressive. I convey my best wishes to President Ersin Tatar, who was subjected to an attempted attack in London. We are always with the TRNC”.
