TRNC artists open exhibition at Ankara’s Esenboğa Airport

Art works created within the scope of “Painters of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from Yesterday to Today, Altındağ Workshop and Exhibition” are being exhibited at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal.

The exhibition can be visited until the end of March.

The works in the exhibition will then be offered for sale and the proceeds will be donated to those affected by the February 6 earthquake.

An opening ceremony was held under the auspices of the TRNC Embassy in Ankara and attended by Ambassador İsmet Korukoğlu, Ankara deputy Governor Murat Soylu, TAV Airports Esenboğa General Manager Nuray Demirer and other officials.

14 artworks belonging to Bülent Salderay, Direnç Betmezoğlu, Feridun Işıman, Mustafa Hastürk, Semra Bayhanlı, Türksal İnce and Zühre Özkaraman will be exhibited at Ankara Esenboğa Airport International Terminal for 15 days.

After the completion of the exhibition, the artworks will be offered for sale through an auction.

The proceeds from the sales are expected to be donated to the Champion Angels Association and an official organization in Türkiye.
