Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and an accompanying delegation travelled to Adıyaman via Ankara on Thursday morning to follow up on the latest developments concerning the İsias case.
The delegation came together with governor Ali Mantı to receive information on the latest developments before visiting the site of the İsias Hotel which claimed the lives of 35 members of the Gazimağusa Türk Maarif College Boys and Girls Secondary School Volleyball teams.
The group will return to the island later this evening.
The delegation headed by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel is made up of Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz, the leader of the main opposition Republican Turkish Party Tufan Erhürman, MPs Talip Atalay and Hüseyin Çavuş Kelle, the head of the Lefkoşa Criminal Court Fadıl Aksun and the General Secretary of the National Unity Party Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu.
