The EMITT 2023 Tourism and Travel Exhibition had kicked off in Istanbul.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu attended the opening of the fair in which the TRNC is being represented.

Delivering a speech at the opening, Ataoğlu said that the TRNC’s largest tourism market was Türkiye and that they were running an important advertising campaign which they hoped to see the benefit of in the coming months.

The Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT), which is among the five largest tourism fairs in the world, is underway in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The travel exhibition will end on Saturday, April 15.

Speaking in Istanbul, Ataoğlu reminded that Türkiye was the TRNC’s largest tourism market and that they had prepared well for the EMITT Fair.

Noting that they are running an important advertising campaign in Türkiye, Ataoğlu said that they hoped to reap the benefits of this campaign in coming months ahead.

Pointing out that they have a very close relationship with Türkiye’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Ataoğlu said a new promotional film which was broadcast in 5 countries, was prepared with the support of Türkiye.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu concluded his speech by inviting everyone to come and visit North Cyprus.
