Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, emphasized that their goal this year is to surpass the pre-pandemic figures.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is being promoted at the Arabian Travel Market, the Travel and Tourism Trade Show taking place in Dubai.
A delegation from the Tourism Promotion and Marketing Department is participating in the Arabian Travel Market Fair, the largest and most prestigious tourism fair in the Arab market, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The travel market is set to continue until May 9.
The fair was visited by Türkiye’s Consul General in Dubai, Onur Şaylan, and the representative of the TRNC in Abu Dhabi, Umut Koldaş, who met with staff and sector representatives.
Commenting on the issue, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu, stated that the Arabian Travel Market Tourism Fair held in Dubai is a great opportunity to promote Northern Cyprus’ tourism potential on the international stage and to establish new business connections.
Ataoğlu highlighted that the country’s tourism is improving day by day and they aim to exceed the momentum they achieved before the pandemic this year.
He also emphasized that the Arabian Travel Market will serve as a great facilitator to introduce the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, and hospitality to a wider audience worldwide.
