The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was promoted at the Antalya 2023 Tourism Fair which lasted for two days and attended by tourism professionals from 35 different countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, who took part in the fair’s opening, emphasized that efforts are continuing intensively for the further development of the tourism sector, which is the leading sector of the country’s economy.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was represented at the Antalya 2023 Tourism Fair with a delegation consisting of a professional team from the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, as well as members of the Cyprus Turkish Hoteliers Association, the Cyprus Turkish Travel Agencies Association and the Health Tourism Council.
Speaking at the opening, Ataoğlu said, “The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), despite the isolation it has been subjected to for years in politics, economy and humanitarian areas, is a country that has integrated with the world and has become the choice of people from all over the world thanks to its success in sectors such as tourism, higher education and health” said Ataoğlu and added that it has an economic structure that is getting stronger day by day.”
He also noted that the work for the further development of tourism, which is the leading sector of the country’s economy, continues intensively and said that as the TRNC, they have opened the doors for all tourism professionals and visitors to discover North Cyprus.
