The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has taken over the term presidency of the World Health Tourism Council.

In this context, a flag handover ceremony was held in Girne on Thursday.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel was among those who attended the ceremony.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel on Thursday attended the handover ceremony for the term presidency of the World Health Tourism Council which consists of 56 countries.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will carry out the Presidency for the 2023-2024 period.

During the ceremony, Üstel was informed on the health tourism goals under the presidency of the TRNC.
