TRNC taking part at 2024 Netherlands Tourism Fair

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is being represented at the Vakantiebeurs 2024 Netherlands Tourism Fair which is taking place from January 11-14.

Within the scope of its overseas tourism promotion and marketing activities, the Deputy Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment is taking part in the fair.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu accompanied the Deputy Director of Tourism Promotion and Marketing Department Latif İnce and the Cyprus Turkish Tourism and Travel Association – KITSAB President Orhan Tolun at the fair that is taking place in the Netherlands.

They held meetings with foreign agencies and tour operators.

The fair is being held at UTRECHT at the Jaarbeurs Congress and Exhibition Centre and will be open to tourism professionals and visitors for 4 days.

Speaking at the fair, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said that they are in the Dutch market for the further development of tourism, which is the leading sector of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus’s economy.

He said that they are working to better explain the special interest tourism and tourism diversity in the TRNC, as the TRNC is a country that has all the criteria sought by the Dutch market.

Ataoğlu stated that they are a preferred country in the Mediterranean basin as Northern Cyprus has activities that can be carried out every month of the year such as bird watching, hiking, mountaineering, camping and caravanning.

Stating that the guests visiting the fair are interested in the geographical location, historical, touristic and humanitarian features of Northern Cyprus as well as its untouched structure, Ataoğlu stated that the demands to discover these beauties are increasing.
