The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation stated that T&T Airport Management continues to fulfil its financial obligations in accordance with the Ercan State Airport Operation Right Transfer Agreement.

According to the information given by the Ministry, T&T Airport Management, which operates Ercan Airport and is the ‘TRNC’s only window to the world’, will pay ₺250m for the last quarter of 2023 within the framework of its contract with the ministry.

In the statement, it was noted that the number of passengers increased with the opening of the new Ercan Airport and the ability of wide-body aircraft to land on the runway, leading to an increase in the amount entering the state treasury.
