President Ersin Tatar received the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation’s Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Honorary Promotion Board.

Speaking during the visit President Ersin Tatar expressed the hope to see the Turkish Armed Forces becoming even stronger.

President Ersin Tatar received the Chairman of the Honorary Promotion Board of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation for the TRNC, Retired Officer Bülent Meydanlı and its members.

Speaking during the visit President Tatar expressed his pride in Türkiye’s achievements in national defense and wished them continued success.

Noting that after the 1974 Peace Operation, the strengthening of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation gained momentum in order to develop the Turkish Armed Forces, reduce its dependence on foreign sources and prepare its national installations.

Tatar talked about the achievements of the Turkish Armed Forces and wished it to become even stronger in the future.

Honorary President of the TAF Foundation Bülent Meydanlı for his part stated that the Foundation is new in the TRNC and talked about its activities.

Meydanlı also informed that the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation has partnerships with ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, İŞBİR and ASPİLSAN companies operating in Türkiye’s defense industry.
