Turkish Cypriot food producers had the opportunity to promote and market their products in Istanbul last week.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for the first time attended the 31st International Food Products and Technologies Fair – WorldFood Istanbul, under its own name.
The 31st International Food Products and Technologies Fair – WorldFood Istanbul was held at TÜYAP and has come to an end.
1,500 local and foreign exhibitors from more than 30 countries took part in the fair.
Under the organization of the Ministry of Economy and Energy and the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry, with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Trade and Technology and the Turkish Exporters Assembly, 12 companies had the opportunity to market their products and sought new export opportunities at the fair.
In this context, crisps, nuts, coffee, Turkish delight, baked goods, cheese and dairy products, pickles, pastes, jams, honey, canned products, poultry goods, eggs, citrus fruits and citrus concentrate, olive oil and zivaniya, all produced in the TRNC were promoted during the fair.
As interest in the TRNC stands was intense, industrialists left the fair satisfied with their efforts.
