Turkish Deputy Minister Çam visits Turkish Ambassador Feyzioğlu

The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu came together with Turkish Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture Serdar Çam and the Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) Serkan Kayalar.

Speaking during the meeting held at the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa, Feyzioğlu stated that they have carried out very important projects with TİKA in the TRNC.

“We are directly touching the lives of our brothers and sisters, our citizens, our businesspeople, our fishermen. We are always with them,” Feyzioğlu said.

The Turkish Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture Çam for his part said that he had found the opportunity to inspect the work carried out by TİKA in the TRNC in person.

Stating that they had toured the TRNC from one end to the other, speaking with people and listening to their needs, Çam said, “It has been a productive and intense few days. We will continue to work on projects in the coming days.”

He also stressed that they will continue to stand by the Turkish Cypriot people, the 500-year-old guardian and representative of the Turkic world in the Mediterranean.

Also speaking during the visit, the Head of TİKA Serkan Kayalar stated that the agency’s Lefkoşa office was carrying out important projects that had a direct impact on the lives of the Turkish Cypriot people.

Kayalar also added that they will continue to work to bring projects to life in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy, ​​TRNC authorities and non-governmental organizations.
