Türkiye’s Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, has affirmed the ongoing commitment to support the enhancement of the TRNC’s role in the international arena and accelerate its development.

In a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Energy, Olgun Amcaoğlu, Bolat highlighted the importance of maintaining trade, investment, and contractor relations between the two countries.

Posting about the meeting on his X social media account on Wednesday, the Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat described the discussions as fruitful, emphasizing the comprehensive review of trade, investment, and contractor relations between the TRNC and Türkiye.

“In addition to these discussions, we have made significant decisions regarding the enhancement of the TRNC’s customs infrastructure with modern tools and methods, as well as the continuation of information and experience sharing in the areas of product safety, inspection, and market surveillance,” stated Bolat.

Highlighting the increasing regional significance of the TRNC, Bolat underscored Türkiye’s commitment to continue supporting the development and acceleration of the TRNC’s role and its progress in the international arena.
