The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş met with his Bahraini counterpart Ahmed Bin Salman Al Musalam on Monday within the framework of his visit to the Bahraini capital Manama.

Kurtulmuş and Musalam chaired an inter-delegation meeting after their head-to-head meeting at the Bahraini National Assembly.

Kurtulmuş reminded that the TRNC has applied for membership to the Asian Football Confederation and emphasized that the confederation manager is a Bahraini official and that they expect support in this regard.

“Unfortunately, despite all its positive efforts, the TRNC has been subjected to the punishments of the West. We need to support the recognition of the TRNC by supporting it on international platforms” said Kurtulmuş.
