Turkish VP Cevdet Yılmaz completes his contacts in the TRNC

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz departed from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Wednesday after completing his two-day visit to the country.

Speaking at Ercan Airport before his departure, Yılmaz emphasized the importance of political stability and continuity of governments for economic stability.

Yılmaz also thanked Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and his team for their hospitality.

Pointing out that success is achieved where there is trust and stability, Yılmaz said that due to the cooperation between the two countries, results have been achieved and the expectations of the people have been met.

Noting that there is a stable and trustworthy administration in the TRNC, Yılmaz said that projects are being implemented one by one in full cooperation.

He also said that investments in infrastructure, education and health, cable connection, Ercan Airport and the master plan in the field of agriculture are the most concrete examples of this.

Stating that cooperation between the two countries will continue in the future, Yılmaz said, “We will come together on various occasions in Türkiye and the TRNC and prioritize the work that needs to be done”.
