The Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak who arrived in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Monday, embarked on his official contacts in the country with a visit to the graves of the Champion Angels this morning.

He was accompanied by the Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu and some officials.

During the visit, a prayer was recited for the Champion Angels.

Turkish Minister Bak placed red roses on the graves of the angels.

After chatting with the families Turkish Minister Bak left the cemetery without making a statement to the press.

As part of his contacts in the TRNC, the Turkish minister attended the opening ceremonies of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Sports Council and Science Centre.
