Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu spoke at the Türkiye-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) 2nd Economic Conference held in Istanbul.
Pointing to the goals of his Ministry, Amcaoğlu said that increasing the export of high value-added products and services production is the most important goal.
The Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu attended the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum and Türkiye-TRNC 2nd Economic Conference held in Istanbul.
According to the information given by the Ministry, Amcaoğlu delivered a speech at the conference and conveyed the situation and goals of trade in the TRNC.
“As the Ministry of Economy and Energy, the most important goals of our ministry are to increase the export of high value-added products and services, increase investments, increase innovation capacity and make it more visible and to develop good governance models,” said Amcaoğlu.
He also emphasized that it would be a great success if the bed capacity in the tourism sector in the TRNC increased from 27 thousand to 50 thousand adding that this at the same time would lead to the increase of the annual occupancy rate of 66 percent.
