The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu has said that Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were always hand-in-hand.

Feyzioğlu’s remarks came in a post on social media where he evaluated the latest visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

“Türkiye-TRNC always hand in hand,” Turkish Ambassador Metin Feyzioğlu wrote on social media, commenting underneath a photograph he posted of President Erdoğan posing together with President Ersin Tatar and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

“We continue with all our efforts on infrastructure projects to enhance the welfare, productivity, economic growth, and the perpetual existence of the Turkish Cypriot people under the strong leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Our aim is to ensure that the TRNC thrives as a sovereign, independent state with equal and internationally recognized legal status in the Eastern Mediterranean” Feyzioğlu said.
