United Nations Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo concluded her meetings in Cyprus.
Di Carlo, whose meetings focused on preparations for the informal Cyprus meeting in Geneva in March, will continue her tour of the region.
Di Carlo will hold talks in Greece today and in Türkiye tomorrow.
The United Nations Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo held separate meetings with President Ersin Tatar and Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Christodoulides.
Describing her contacts in Cyprus as useful, DiCarlo focused on the preparations for the informal meeting to be held in Geneva on March 17-18, including the guarantor countries Türkiye, Greece and the UK.
UN Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo will continue her tour of the region by paying a visit to Athens, the capital of Greece, today and then move on to Ankara, the capital of Türkiye tomorrow.
It was stated that the Cyprus issue as well as regional developments will be discussed during DiCarlo’s visits.
