Üstel celebrates 106th anniversary of Azeri independence

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has released a message celebrating the 106th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence.

In a written statement, Üstel highlighted the significant progress Azerbaijan has made since gaining independence, emphasizing its development in political, economic, and social spheres.

He noted that Azerbaijan has become a key player in ensuring peace and stability in its region.

In his message issued to mark the 106th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel paid tribute to the heroic people of Azerbaijan for their struggle and sacrifices for independence.

He remarked that Azerbaijan’s independence is not only a historic step towards freedom and sovereignty for one nation but also serves as an inspiration for the entire Turkic world.

“Azerbaijan’s progress since gaining independence has been remarkable, making it an important actor in regional peace and stability,” Üstel stated.

He further added, “The historical, cultural, and human ties between the people of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Azerbaijan continue to strengthen under the concept of ‘One Nation, Three States.’ With this opportunity, I honour those who fell as martyrs in Azerbaijan’s fight for independence and wish health, peace, and prosperity to all our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters. ‘One nation, three states!’ Onward together.”
