Prime Minister Ünal Üstel has said that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was continuing on its path on the principle of “three states, one nation”.

Üstel was evaluating the questions of reporters in Baku.

Highlighting the importance of the visit being conducted to Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that they were very hopeful of the results of the contacts to be carried out by the 200-person delegation currently in Baku.

“I believe that the new process which will begin with this visit will bring cultural, economic and political relations between our countries to the highest level. Just as President Aliyev said, our flag is flying high here in Azerbaijan. For this we are eternally grateful and overjoyed,” he said.

Üstel added that the TRNC was continuing on its path on the principle of “three states, one nation,” and that no one could suppress or subjugate the Turkic peoples as long as there is unity and solidarity.
