Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that 2025 will be a year in which they will increase their targets and realize major projects.

In his statement, Üstel reminded of what has been done during his time in government and gave information about new projects.

“2025 will be a year when economic problems are alleviated and projects are realized” said Üstel and announced that a generator will be purchased for Kıb-Tek and support will be provided for the renewal of public transportation vehicles.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel made a statement regarding the new year by stating that 2025 will be a year in which they will increase their goals and realize major projects.

He said “As we leave 2024 behind, we are preparing to welcome 2025 with hope and excitement. On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate the New Year of all our people and our nation. I hope that 2025 will be a year full of peace, health, happiness and prosperity for all of us”.

Noting that since they took office in 2022, they have carried out reforms for the future of the country, realized projects that had not been completed for years, and continued to work on all the issues where they had made promises to the people, Üstel said that they had mobilized all of their resources to mitigate the impact of economic fluctuations.

“We acted decisively to increase the salaries of our public and private sector employees and not to crush our people against inflation.

In this process, we realized the long-awaited Local Government Reform. We built new roads, schools and health centers, completed the Lefkoşa Ring Road and the Alsancak-Girne Ring Road. We took a historic step in the project to bring electricity from Türkiye via cable.

We continue to leave lasting works in every field from education to health, agriculture to technological infrastructure” said Üstel.

He said that since the day they have taken office, they have worked with determination for the development of the country, increasing its welfare and taking stronger steps towards the future.

Üstel said they continue to work with determination to fulfil the promises they have made to the people.

He said that 2025 will be a year of easing economic difficulties and realization of projects.

“All our efforts are to increase the welfare of our people and secure our future. We are determined to act with a service-oriented approach instead of ideological politics and to offer a better future to our people” he said wishing everyone a very happy new year in 2025, full of health, peace, happiness and tranquility.
