Prime Minister and the National Unity Party (UBP) leader Ünal Üstel made statements on Sunday regarding the upcoming actions of the government and the party congress process.
In his statement, Prime Minister Üstel said that during the new legislative period, the UBP will complete the projects that the public needs and implement significant reforms.
He stressed that they will focus on the economy, increase the purchasing power of the people, and work to curb the rising cost of living.
Stating that they will prioritize solving the energy issue, which has persisted for over 40 years, the Premier said, “We will work to resolve the electricity problem as well.”
Announcing that they will complete five new projects to address issues with the highways and have initiated three new hospital projects in the healthcare sector, Üstel said that they will implement major projects for the youth.
“We are a government that takes action and gets things done” he said and stressed, “Actions speak louder than words.”
Noting that several projects had been completed and others restarted thanks to the trust-based relationship established with Türkiye, the Prime Minister said that they will complete the projects the public needs and maintain their strong governance by preserving political stability.
Also commenting on his party’s upcoming major congress, he praised the enthusiasm of party members and the activity within the party’s organizations.
Expressing that the congress will be a celebration of democracy, Üstel praised the unity and togetherness of the party members.
He stressed that this positive atmosphere is a sign of future victories.
Stating that the UBP was a large family, Üstel noted that congresses are a natural part of this process.
Stressing that after the congress, the UBP will continue its journey with victory and remain firmly in power, the Premier also stated that the UBP will be a party where brotherhood, not conflict, will prevail.
