The voting process for Turkish nationals residing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has begun.
Turkish citizens in the TRNC will be able to cast their votes early for the presidential and parliamentary elections set to take place on May 14.
Voters will be able to vote at three polling stations set up across the TRNC, one in Lefkoşa, one in Gazimağusa and one in Güzelyurt.
The Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu said on Wednesday that there were 142,000 registered voters in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Voting is taking place at the Atatürk Sports Hall in Lefkoşa, the Lala Mustafa Paşa Sports Hall in Gazimağusa and the Dr. Fazıl Küçük Sports Hall in Güzelyurt between 9am-9pm.
TRNC citizens with dual citizenship will also be able to vote in the election.
