The Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment together with representatives of the tourism sector of our country, organized the “Westfield Shopping Centre 2023” promotional event in England between October 20-22, within the scope of overseas tourism promotion and marketing activities.

The top-level event, organized for the first time, aimed to increase the number of tourists from the UK to North Cyprus and draw attention to the region.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu, in his statement, emphasized the importance of the UK market, stating that they are holding different promotional events in order to bring the North Cyprus destination to the forefront in the UK market.

He said that the North Cyprus promotional event continued for 3 days on all led screens at the Westfield Shopping Centre, which hosted 100 thousand people in 3 days and was very effective.

Noting that last year, in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the North Cyprus promotional film was shown on British television and news websites, Ataoğlu said that they expect to see the fruits of these steps this year.
