Meteorology Department warns of dust, strong winds and rain

Wind and rain has been forecast for the next four days.

The Meteorology Department has announced that it will be very windy with showers expected throughout the day.

There is also a high concentration of dust in the atmosphere which will remain until Tuesday midnight.

According to the statement made by the Meteorology Department, our region will be under the influence of a cold and humid air mass brought by a low pressure system.

Strong winds are expected today followed by showers over the next few days.

The met office has also warned the public of a high concentration of dust in the atmosphere.

All vulnerable groups are urged to avoid spending long periods of time outdoors until the dust subsides Tuesday midnight.

The temperature is expected to be around 26 to 29 ºC.
