Today is April 2nd, “World Autism Awareness Day”…

President Ersin Tatar, issuing a message on the occasion, stated that autism affects not only individuals but also families and communities, emphasizing that everyone needs to put more effort into understanding and supporting individuals with autism.

“On this special day, we celebrate the unique abilities and contributions of individuals with autism and pledge to continue working for them to receive the respect and acceptance they deserve in our society. I believe that everyone should embrace differences and provide the necessary support for individuals with autism to utilize their potential to the fullest,” the president said.

Tatar said that everyone should remember that we are all different, and these differences enrich our society.

“Hearing the voices of individuals with autism and showing them respect is fundamental to creating a fairer and more inclusive society,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, a series of events are being held across the country on Tuesday to raise awareness on the issue.
