World Health Tourism Forum to convene in TRNC

The World Health Tourism Forum will convene in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The forum will take place from April 18-20.

The 6th World Health Tourism Forum and Conference will be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which holds the rotating presidency of the World Health Tourism Council.

The forum will take place April 18-20 with the participation of 56 countries.

A pre-event meeting was held under the chairmanship of World Health Tourism Council President Ahmet Savaşan.

In his written statement, World Health Tourism Council term President Ahmet Savaşan noted that the form will be held between 18-20 April with its new format, created with the addition of a conference section where scientific articles will be presented.

Savaşan stated that the event will bring together representatives of health service providers from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Türkiye, health tourism agencies, hotels, intermediary institutions, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations and academicians from 56 member countries of the World Health Tourism Council.

He pointed out that in the sessions to be held, “The Future of Global Health Tourism, Health and Sustainable Development Goals, Travel for Health, Health Services and Climate Change, Health Services and Technologies, Wellness and Wellbeing, Health Tourism and Advanced Active Living” will be discussed.

Savaşan also extended an invitation to all countries operating in the field of health tourism to take part in the forum that will take place in the TRNC.
