Turkish Vice-President Cevdet Yılmaz, as part of his visit, conducted inspections at the construction site of the new “Presidential Complex and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Parliament, National Garden and Mosque Project.”
Yılmaz was accompanied by the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu, and some ministers during the visit.
The Director of Siyahkalem Engineering Construction Industry and Trade Company’s Office in the TRNC, which is responsible for the project, provided information and gave a presentation on the project to Vice-President Yılmaz.
After the inspections, Yılmaz took a commemorative photo with the workers and expressed his hope that the complex would be inaugurated on November 15 in time for the Republic Day celebrations.
“Hopefully, we will witness the opening on November 15th. You are building a very important legacy, a project that will be passed on to our children. I wish you success, and let’s also adhere to occupational health and safety regulations,” the Turkish Vice-President said.
