In line with events held to mark the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, a Youth Walk was realized from the Kantara Youth Camp to the Kantara Castle.
The Youth Department Directorate that is affiliated to the Deputy Prime Ministry, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Ministry, organized a Youth Walk to mark the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.
Members of the Youth Centres of the Department of Youth, Scouts from the Summit Scouts Association, personnel from the Youth Department and their Director Hakan Özsaygın took part in the event.
Once the group reached the Kantara Castle a banner was opened commemorating the Champion Angles.
They also watched the Summit Scouting Association’s presentation titled 19th of May and Atatürk after completing their walk.
Addressing the youth the Director of the Youth Department Özsaygın drew attention to the importance of understanding Atatürk and his ideas, and expressed his joy at seeing the youth following his path.
