Concert in Baku

The Contemporary Music Association Turkish Classical Music Choir performed a concert in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. They performed Turkish and Azerbaijani songs at the concert titled “One Voice, One Heart”.

The Contemporary Music Associations Turkish Classical Music Choir performed a concert in Baku.

The concert, titled “One Voice, One Heart,” held at the Nizami Cinema Center, was attended by the Secretary-General of TURKPA, Mehmet Süreyya Er, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Baku, Cahit Bağcı, the Representative of the TRNC in Baku, Ufuk Turganer, Azerbaijani MPs, and many other guests.

At the concert organized by the TRNC Representation in Baku and the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society with the support of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture, the choir, under the direction of Conductor Ersin Tünay, performed Turkish and Azerbaijani songs.

TRNC Representative in Baku, Ufuk Turganer, stated in his speech that the Contemporary Music Association Turkish Classical Music Choir had previously performed a concert in Nakhchivan.

Turganer emphasized the importance of cultural activities for the unity of the brotherly ties between the two countries.

Orhan Hasanoğlu, the President of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society, also expressed that Cyprus is not just an island in the Mediterranean for Azerbaijan but is as valuable as Karabakh.

Hasanoğlu stated that the Turkish Cypriots love Azerbaijanis very much and expressed that all Azerbaijanis should definitely visit Cyprus.
