The winners of the 2023 “Press Awards” of the International Turkish Culture Organization have been announced.
Fehmi Gürdallı, the Director of the Turkish Agency Cyprus (TAK) from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), was also honoured with the award.
The “Press Awards” of the International Turkish Culture Organization for the year 2023 were presented at an event held in the city of Shusha in Azerbaijan.
The 2023 TÜRKSOY Press Awards were presented at the ceremony in Shusha, one of the symbolic cities of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh victory, to 16 media organizations and members from 9 countries of the Turkic World as part of the closing program of the Shusha 2023 Turkic World Culture Capital events.
Fehmi Gürdallı, the Director of the Turkish Agency Cyprus from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, was honoured with the award this year.
In his statement after receiving the award, Gürdallı expressed pride in receiving such an award.
He mentioned that receiving this award in 2023, which marks the 30th anniversary of TÜRKSOY and the 50th anniversary of TAK, provides them with motivation and responsibility for promoting the Turkic world and culture.
