The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation Enver Öztürk attended the “Düzce Sustainable Urban Transportation Project” event organized by Düzce Municipality in Türkiye.

According to the information given by the Ministry, Öztürk also had a short meeting with the Turkish Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu during the event.

Speaking in Düzce on the issue of public transport, Öztürk said that he was certain positive results will be achieved through their cooperation with the Düzce Municipality.

He said that they had gained important information and also had the opportunity to meet with the authorities regarding the system to be implemented in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Öztürk noted that they are in cooperation with the Düzce Municipality on the modern public transportation system planned to be established in the TRNC and said, “We will soon start to see the positive results of this cooperation.”
